Another year has come and go. My, how time flies… It just felt like yesterday was the day when I came to the States, but here I am, in the next year of that particular event! Ok, now I can start to miss home, hahaha… Oh, I almost forget. Happy New Year! I certainly wish for a great year ahead all of us. 2008 has been a marvelous (if not somewhat felt quick) year. Let’s face 2009 with a positive mindset, it’s gonna be great.
It’s Christmas time! Sadly it’s not a White Christmas in here right now, it’s been a clear sky (some clouds, too) all day and all night. Anyway, Happy Christmas to everyone… Too bad I can’t celebrate the Christmas with neither my family nor my friends. But hey, always be thankful for everything. It’s nice to have a Christmas somewhere else in a while.
It’s still early dawn of December 24th, and I received my Christmas present already. Well, it’s a present from me, to be precise… Amazon-bought Sennheiser CX400 earphones. The replacement phones for my broken one. It’s a really good earphones, from which I savour my collection of music tracks in my Sony Walkman. Well, to think that I still believe in Santa Claus… Happy early Christmas everyone!

My second IMAX experience, and my first one on commercial movie (considering the first one was in Keong Mas, and it was a documentary movie). I’ve got to give this technology a praise. High-definition digital projector? 12500 Watts of surround sound? Definitely will blow you away! Even a bad movie can become a decent one with IMAX. I watched The Day The Earth Stood Still in IMAX, and yet that not-so-good movie suddenly became a bearable piece of entertainment. I can’t imagine how a good movie will be… Too bad it’s pretty expensive to watch an IMAX presentation.
Too many yanking my earphones cable resulted in one thing, broken cable right near the 3.5 mm plug connector. That’s right, it’s a farewell to my Walkman’s earphones. So long, my trusty fellow, I won’t forget your great sound and your short service time of almost 4 months. Now I just have to settle with the crappy white iPod earphones while I’m looking for a replacement.
I finally got my external hard disk drive delivered. It’s a 1TB LaCie with USB 2.0 connection. The drive is sexy, with sleek simple box design and glossy black finish. I could go better with eSATA interface though, but hey, one can’t ask for too much. With this peripheral in hand, I got all my computer needs right now. And more importantly, I got 1TB of storage goodness. Backups will be a breeze, and file stashing will also be easy. After all, 1TB is such a big storage place. Now I got this big hole in my storage space, hahaha…
