The second English album of Utada Hikaru is here, it’s called This Is The One. The overall feel of the album is solid and it’s clearly targeted to the current mainstream Western music taste, with R&B influence all over the tracks. It’s also worth noting that Utada’s cunning rhyming is imminent in this album. How often do you hear the words “Photoshop”, “MySpace”, “Blackberry”, and “JPEG” in a song?

This is the alternative version of Life in Technicolor, the opening song of the Grammy Award Winning Album, Coldplay’s Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends. This version is included in the new Prospekt’s March EP. Adding lyrics to a beautifully made instrument-only sound is a tough thing to do. More often than not you will end up with a worse song than the original one. But this is one of the rare exception, Coldplay is able to keep the fanfare spirit of the song (which originally 2:29 long), to a full fledged song.
